Since its inception in 1979 by Shlomo Lieberman and Gershon Stern,

BSc and MSc in structural design, with over 17 years of experience in designing underground structures, tunnels, and bridges in civil engineering. Specialized in various bridge and tunnel design methods, including bridges with prefabricated prestressed elements, cast-in-situ and post-tensioned bridges, as well as conducting complex computational analyses for conventional and TBM tunnels. In charge of the detailed design and execution and planning management of two 6.5 km long tunnels for the Light Rail’s Red Line, Tel-Aviv metropolitan area; detailed execution design and planning management of two 3.5 km long tunnels, boxes for three underground stations, portals, and TBM launching shafts for the Light Rail’s Green Line, Tel-Aviv metropolitan area (on behalf of the contractor); planning management and collaboration in the design of a 3 km long TBM tunnel for the A1 Jerusalem line; planning of the Red Line’s Turkish Rail tunnel (on behalf of the client) using the cut & cover method; and more.
Amir Stern
Co-CEO
BSc and MSc in the field of structural design, with over 30 years of experience in designing structures and tunnels in the realm of civil engineering. Specialized in designing bridges, road structures, public structures, and tunnels, including bridges that incorporate prefab prestressed elements, segmental bridges that incorporate the balanced cantilever and incremental launching methods, steel carriageways, and cast-in-situ and post-tensioned bridges. Also proficient in complex tunneling projects involving conventional mining, TBM, and cut & cover methods; bridge restoration; and planning various types of retaining walls and deep foundations, including reinforced soil, anchors, soil nails and rock bolts.
Meiri Avishur
Co-CEO
BSc and MSc in the field of structural design, with over 23 years of experience in designing underground structures, tunnels, and bridges in the realm of civil engineering. Specialized in designing road structures and complex bridges in various local and international projects, including bridges that incorporate prefab prestressed elements, multispan cast-in-situ and post-tensioned bridges, balanced cantilever and incrementally launched bridges, and steel bridges. Also worked on complex tunneling projects that involve the cut & cover method, bridge restoration, and planning various types of retaining walls, including reinforced soil, anchors and soil nails. Highly experienced in static calculations and unique dynamic calculations using advanced software, and proficient in performing non-linear analyses for designing energy-absorbing elements for earthquake resistance.
Shlomo Lieberman
Founder
Over 50 years of experience in designing and managing complex projects in the fields of civil engineering, structural engineering, and geotechnics. Shlomo is the co-founder of GASH alongside Eng. Gershon Stern. In his 40 years as the company’s CEO, he spearheaded countless complex tunneling and bridging projects, including the bridges at Ganot, HaKfar Hayarok, and Kfar Shamryahu interchanges, as well as directed the planning of the Shazar Underground Parking Complex, and the Aked and Red Line Tunnels. In addition to his role as CEO, Shlomo greatly contributed to the promotion of structural design in Israel, promoted innovative design and construction methods, and took part in public activities in the field of civil engineering. Shlomo served as chairman of retaining walls and reinforced soil standards committees, and was a member of the team of standardization experts in three bridging committees. He also edited the Inter-ministerial General Specifications for Prestressed Concrete.

Gil Manor
Team Leader
BSc and MSc in structural engineering, with over 17 years of experience in designing various types of structures, including bridges, road structures, high-rise buildings, industrial buildings, hospitals, and residential buildings in Israel and around the world. Gil has been a GASH team leader for 11 years. Gil’s team specializes in structural design for complex multidisciplinary projects.
Meron Tilo
Team Leader
Over 19 years of experience in structural design, including reinforced concrete,road structures, steel construction, tunneling, and prestressed and steel bridges. Oversaw the design of four high-rise buildings in Russia, prestressed girder bridges in Georgia, underground rail stations, Em Hamoshavot launch shaft, and projects amounting to more than 100,000 m2 of retaining walls, reinforced soil, soil nails and prestressed ground anchors in Israel and abroad.
Tamir Lavidor
Team Leader
Over 30 years of experience in designing road structures such as prestressed concrete composite bridges, retaining walls, rehabilitation design, and reinforcing and upgrading existing road structures. Tamir has designed notable projects in Jerusalem, including the Route 1 North bridge with 30 meter-high abutments, arch-incorporating bridges and retaining walls on Begin Road, tunnels and portals on Route 6 North, retaining walls on Route 431, and grade separations junctions for Israel Railways.
Tzahi Ohev Shalom
Team Leader
Over 13 years of experience in structural design including reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete bridge structures, retaining walls, and underpasses. Responsible for designing the Bohu Bridge (part of the Yad Mordechai–Netivot railway), bridges and retaining walls along the Jerusalem Light Rail’s Red Line, 30,000 m2 of bridges and passages in Ashkelon’s Wine City project, a 640 meter-long balanced cantilever bridge at Glilot Interchange, and the Asher Weiner Tunnel in Jerusalem.
Tal Kadoshi
Team Leader
Over 13 years of experience in designing tunnels, structures and reinforced and prestressed concrete bridges. Tal specializes in planning prestressed bridges in various methods, including a 740 meter-long balanced cantilever bridge at Glilot Interchange. He participated in the design management and provided full support throughout the construction of the Shazar Underground Parking excavation project, as well as in the planning of the cut-and-cover railway tunnel beneath Route 531.
Hagay Fishman
Team Leader
With over 8 years of experience in designing reinforced concrete structures, prestressed concrete bridges, cut-and-cover tunnels, and retaining walls.Hagai designed the Kadesh Bridge in Ashkelon (8,500 m² total), the 300-meter-long Asher Weiner cut-and-cover tunnel in Jerusalem, and a 640-meter-long balanced cantilever bridge at Glilot Interchange.
Itzik Schvartzman
Team Leader
Over 10 years of experience in design and management of complex projects in Israel and abroad, primarily in the field of underground and marine structures. Major projects include the planning of two 6,000 m2 heavy piers for the Ministry of Defense, planning of a 22,500 m2 cargo unloading dock in Ghana, design management of the underground stations of the Light Rail’s Red Line, planning of the launch shaft in the Light Rail’s Green Line tunnel, and foundation and excavation design (Infra 1) of the Light Rail’s Green Line Arlozorov and Kaplan stations, covering 4,000 m2 each.

Over 8 years of experience in structure and bridge design in the field of civil engineering. Specializes in designing bridges, road structures, and public structures, including bridges that incorporate prefab prestressed elements, underground parking garages, steel structures, and retaining walls.
