About the project

A road bridge, over the Jordan River, built of composite steel sheet piles with a reinforced concrete bearing plate in a span of 52 meters. The project required the complete lifting of the steel bridge weighing about 100 tons and placing it in place, while carrying out the lifting and assembly from both banks of the river. The fact that the bridge passes over the Syrian-African fault necessitated carrying out appropriate analyzes for earthquakes, and finding appropriate design solutions.
