The project included reinforcing and expanding a bridge built in the 1940s over a wide river and floodplains. The original 8.35 meter-wide bridge was expanded to 13.5 meters. The restoration and reinforcement work utilized versatile technologies, including reinforced box sections and rectangular beams, the addition of external trenches, chiseling the carriageway cantilevers and installing steel cantilevers over the box sections, for casting a new carriageway platform. The 40.5 meter-long tread sections include cantilevers on each side, with a floating platform between them, made of prefab rectangular beams supporting a cast platform.
